The re-launch is in a good state game play wise but there are quite a few smaller issues that should be addressed such as the camera zoom being too much, some daily missions not progressing and all characters not being unlocked in training mode.
7/10 at the moment the gameplay is still good despite it being slower than in the beta.

What can I say that hasn't been said already. The games fun, spooky, exciting and addicting. I'ts honestly just a really solid game that capitalizes on the social aspect extremely well. Very excited to see updates and where the game is headed.

Forced to review this for the steam nominations

Cannot recommend for over 20€. The game has at maximum 8 hours of content.

This game caused me mental damage due to sheer incompetence of my comrades and myself.

The ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ piece of ♥♥♥♥ AI in this game doesn't make it a priority to build a defense. I waited with 16x speed for the the defense buildings to finish but no, they just wouldn't be made even when i put it as priority number 1. The game was just a cycle of building back after a drone attack, getting drone attacked again, rinse and repeat. The AI just would simply not build the defense buildings. I even played with easy difficulty but no. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ managed to ruin a fine game simply by adding enemies even though the game has absolutely no need for it. Thanks for ruining the game even before it truly started.

The gameplay would be fun if it just worked. The fast action you have to do are just completely impossible to accomplish with these controls and it ruins the whole experience.

Katana Zero is not worth 12.5€ . I will list the reasons why i think so.

The level design. Most levels are based in sort of semi-industrial look and felt the same. also adding platformer elements don't fit into shoot'em up game. standout levels that i enjoyed are : prison (stealth only), the highway part and club neon. those levels were a fun change artistically and gameplay wise.

The gameplay. The gameplay feels like its split in 2 parts. on the other you have the normal gameplay and in the other is the slowed-down part. it breaks the pacing of the gameplay since you don't really need the slow-down except in a few spots. in my opinion there should have also been a stealth option for more levels. the enemies are very repetitive and don't change almost at all. you only get 7 different enemies (5 if you don't count drones or sentries). you also only have 5 ways of defeating enemies, 2 of them are limited by enviroment so you can always only: slash, deflect bullet or throw item. so imo the combat is not good.

The story. The story gets quite confusing and the 2 masks make absolutely no sense. a major problem is that they DID NOT FINISH THE STORY. the strongest point of the game is story and you just decide to release it without finishing it.

in short terms the gameplay leaves much to be desired for, the levels don't look that great and the story is not even finished.
there is no way this game is worth more than 5€ at best
