For what it is, I think it's a great little game to grind out on a rainy weekend when you have nothing else to do.

The storyline of the game isn't really the most engaging or interesting, it's kind of your standard 'Here's a set of missions leading up to this big momentous event that you need to carry out.' I won't spoil it, but I would personally go into the game to see the progress of CS, the FPS genre and Valve in general. One thing I will say, is that the level design for the game is quite impressive for the time. The immersion of the game is something that I really enjoyed. Some levels make you feel like you're in Saving Private Ryan, others like you're in Indiana Jones, and others like building scene towards the end from The Matrix. The missions that you have to play suit different playstyles quite well too. If you're someone who goes in all-guns-blazing like Rambo, you can do that, but you'll have to rely on your aim and reaction times being quite good. You can play it slow too, peeking corners carefully, and clearing out rooms as though you were destined for a SWAT team. Or if utility is more your thing, then you can take advantage of smokes, flashes, molotovs, and grenades too. As well, some levels have a puzzle-like element to them, where you have to find a way to progress through the stage, whether that's looking for a vent that you have to crawl through, finding a ladder disguised as a pipe, or a specific item that helps you blast open a door. I will admit (shamefully) there were some times where I did have to look at a walkthrough, but I'm a little impatient, and had I spent an extra 5 minutes, I probably would've been fine. Gameplay is identical to that of CS:CZ, with graphics and performance being the same.

No, it's not the best game that Valve has ever made, but I would take the game as more of a learning experience. A product of its time. Yes, the graphics look VERY dated compared to today, and the level design doesn't compare to what we have now, but you have see the game from the eyes of someone from 2004, and you will see a glimpse of appreciation for where we are today. Give the game a try, don't take it too seriously, have fun.

I played this game at a friend's house for about 20 minutes, and had already decided that I needed to buy this game.

The game has very easy controls, with you needed to only press 2 buttons to control your character. (You may need to press them at the same time sometimes, exciting I know.) As someone coming from countless hours in Clone Hero, this was relatively refreshing to see.

Despite the simple controls, the game appeals to both beginners of the rhythm game genre, and to those who live and breathe the damn thing, with there being different difficulty options available for most songs.

The general aesthetic of the game is heavily linked to anime and Japanese culture. As someone who isn't a massive fan, nor hater of the genre, I have no problems with it. The bright colours with the borderline childish aesthetic make the game quite appealing to eyes for me personally, and make the UI with the game itself, easy to navigate.

The base game has a good amount of songs to keep you busy while you chip away at them, with a good range of genres for the songs. For those who are hardcore, you have the option to buy DLC for extra songs, but I personally see no need for it myself.

The game is very easy to run too. I have a GTX 970 with an i5-6400, and I'm hitting thousands of FPS, so you could probably pull out a Dell Laptop from 2006, and you'd be fine running the game.

Overall, there is very little to complain about here. The developers make frequent updates to the game showing that they care. Pair this with an appealing aesthetic, an easy concept with easy controls, a unique soundtrack and appeal to all audiences, and you have a recipe for a game that will turn out fantastically.

I paid £2.99 for the game, and for the price, you really cannot go wrong. Who ever you are, and no matter how many rhythm games you've played, you'll enjoy this for sure.

Says what it does on the tin really.

Completed all the puzzles in the main within 30 minutes, nothing stupidly hard, nothing terribly easy.

The images are as expected for a game named 'Hentai Girl', so no complaints there.

I haven't bought any of the DLC, and I will probably will someday whenever I have some cash to burn.

Overall, good game, not much content, but for 50p on sale, I won't complain.

Honestly, I'm unsure as to how I feel about this game, but I think I can recommend it.

In terms of gameplay, the game runs very nicely, with quality controls and precise movements. Shooting feels very pleasant, and taking down an enemy has satisfaction like no other. In terms of performance, the game ran very well at ultra settings, and I have a GTX 970, and an i5-6400. Plus, the game is from 2013, so you probably don't need a NASA supercomputer to run the game smoothly.

The graphics look fine, it's a game from 2013, so you can't expect a lot, but it looked good enough for me.

The only thing that left me a little unsure was the story. While the plot does seem interesting at first, it gets a little boring later on. Honestly, the thing that kept me playing was the gameplay, not the story. The characters are okay I guess. Voice acting was nothing special, as well as the character development. Almost all of the characters were quite forgettable, but I will admit that the comic relief character wasn't the worst thing ever. Admittedly, the story does resemble a cop drama a little bit. In terms of the length of the game, it doesn't have many missions, but the missions usually take between 30 minutes and 1 hour each, so I guess that makes up for it.

In terms of the side missions, they're quite nice. They can be difficult at times, but it's a nice refresher from the main story.

The multiplayer seems to be dead, so don't bother with Spies vs Mercs.

In total, the completed the game (not all achievements though) in just under 20 hours, and at the end of the whole thing, I was left happy, but a little sad as well. I recommend the game, but don't expect too much.

I'm going to recommend this game, despite me myself not liking it that much.

The game is very realistic. If you're coming from something like Call of Duty or CS:GO, you're going to have a tough time adjusting to Insurgency. While in COD or CS:GO, you can take a couple of shots before you die, whereas in Insurgency, you get shot once and you fall to the ground dead. It's *that* realistic. You have to use critical thinking, tactics, teamwork and pure skill to prosper in this game.

As someone who came from CS:GO, I found it very hard to adjust to the realism, to the point where I didn't really find the game very fun. Maybe I didn't give the game enough of chance, but the concept of the game alone was a little out of my interest.

While I may had not enjoyed it, there is very much for the general consumer to enjoy here. The developers consistently release free DLC from frequent players, it has decent singleplayer capabilities, the multiplayer is always packed and you will always find people to play with, there are mods in this game which can make it more/less realistic, and some other stuff that add to the general content of the game.

While I got it for free, it's not really for me, but I can certainly see why people enjoy it, and that enough allows me to recommend this game.

It's pretty good. While it does stray away from the traditional puzzle-solving, I persoanlly think that the character development and story make up for it due to the heavy emphasis of the 2. The voice acting for most of the characters is some of the best for its time. The charcters there actually sound like how they should be feeling and that makes the immersiveness of the game even better. The graphics look relatively good for a game that came out in 2013, I had zero performance issues running the game at the highest settings with a GTX 970 and i5-6400 so in terms of optimisation, Square Enix have done a good job. In terms of what you actually do in the game, there is a mix between exploration and just generally shooting people. As previously mentioned, the story was focused on veery heavily in this game, and you can definetely see that. It hooks you in quickly, and makes you want to continue without the risk of burning yourself out. The character development is also quite neat, most characters have their own little backstories which you can explore if you wish, but probably don't contribute much in general, but a nice touch in general. For the puzzles that there are, most of them aren't incredibly difficult. Some will obviously be harder than others as well as more frustrating, none of them were hard enough to throw a brick wall at my face, and have me resort to using a tutorial, and this is coming from someone who isn't the best at these types of games. In terms of how the gameplay feels, it doesn't feel too clunky, and feels good in general, so no complaints there.

Overall, this is a very good game for a Tomb Raider beginner. If you are a fan of the previous Tomb Raider games, then this might not be entirely up your alley due to the lack of puzzle-solving, but eitherway I personally think this is a nice game to spent around 12 hours playing around with. I'll give it a solid 9/10, and it's worth full price in my opinion, despite it sometimes being as cheap as 85% off!

I don't know what it is, but despite there being no longer content being added to the game by the original creators, I still keep coming back to this game for some reason. And it's not like I'm exploring the Community Workshop either, I keep coming back thinking how I can approach a certain area of a certain map, what kind of weapon I could use, what kind of accessories I could use, how I could beat my best time... For the most part, it's a cool little arena shooter to play around with, with a slection of well constructed maps, as well as what the Community Workshop has to offer. There is a slection of weapons and tools to choose from, giving ideas on how to beat a certain map in different ways. The graphics are quite 'meh' and don't really win any awards, the game runs very smooth on my PC (i5 6400 and GTX 970) at over 60fps. The game offers a couple of modes to switch between, but I usually end up going for the mode where you kill everyone as quick as possible.

So overall, the game is pretty good and can be addictive, 8/10.

It's a nice little indie game to mess around with when bored to be honest. The graphics are retro, the gameplay runs smooth but it's not like this game requires much gaming power to run, and there is around maybe like up to 3-5 hours of content here if you're willing to stretch it. It's a great game for the price, and perfect for a little timewaster whilst on holiday or something like that.

This is trash. Literally trash. I got this for free from a giveaway, and I'd rather not have it on my library. Like jesus christ, I never knew someone could mess up so bad...
