I've honestly never seen devs this dedicated to a game before, huge props to the devs working on this, you guys are really doing a work of passion even though it doesn't pay bills!

It's an extremely short game, but we need more of those, good work to the devs.

Vanilla game review:
What a strange game Cyberpunk 2077 is in today's landscape. I would even say that most times it barely even plays as a game, it's more of an experience through a simulated life in an unforgiving world. The most memorable parts aren't even any big combat encounters, but the slow moments you get hanging out with characters, talking about their dreams and beliefs, their hopes for the future.
Cyberpunk is also a game of harsh limits and that is very intentional, if you didn't build your character correctly from the start you can completely miss a lot of interactions in the game, and now that stats scale with your level, if you try to master everything you will end up with nothing. Small choices in dialogue can also lead to some absolutely wild endings to certain quests, but the problem is that it all feels like extra work from the devs for nothing. Most players will play through the game once (it's already a massive game as it is), maybe twice, and will barely scratch the surface of what the quests in this game have to offer. In fact there are two ways to go about quests in this game, the less satisfying "So that's my reward for this? okay sure I accept this" and move on (which basically makes all the work the devs put into these quest paths useless) or checking a wiki to see "yeah I missed 5 different paths and like 3 of them were either giving me a cool weapon or a new car, now I feel bad".
I do think I recommend the game because the character moments are amazing, and the writing is really good, but from a gameplay perspective, well the stealth is really bad, the guns don't feel good to use, the shooting is lackluster, and you will get stopped by the story a lot if all you want to do is run around and get in combat all the time.
One easy way to fix the stats check for me would be to allow the player to "attempt" a stat check if he doesn't have enough stats, now that would feel more like an RPG, let me also deal with the consequences if I fail that stat check, right now the stats are here to make it surface level RPG, with no meaning behind them.

Man this game is awesome, Mirror's Edge mood mixed with Hotline Miami risk and reward gameplay mixed with Superhot feels, it plays really damn well and feels awesome.

I wish I could say this as a joke but seriously, this story solves the meaning of life.

The game really needed a "test" feature, having to use paint on the side really isn't fun...
Also, guessing is way too strong and isn't really punished.

Writing this review after finishing Heavensward.
The game is truly amazing but you really need to have no expectations to enjoy it fully.
Are you expecting to play a fun class? Sorry you don't get your mechanics or even the class itself after 100 hours
Expecting to do dungeons with friends? Sorry you have to progress through the extremely slow MSQ to unlock them
Expecting a great story? Yeah sorry but that doesn't start until like 60 hours in and even then the pacing is still as slow as before.
But if you can deal with this slow burn it's one of the best games of all time.

Early Access Review
Great combat system with cool perks, sweet PVP and PVE experience!
COMPLETELY RUINED BY BEING A DUMB USELESS EXTRACTION SHOOTER.
A complete waste, imagine all this game in an actual action RPG adventure!

A very short demo (took me 2 hours to 100% the whole thing which includes replaying it 3 times).
I can see the point to receive funding for the bigger game but it's a shame that this glorified demo is still 6 dollars, I can't recommend it unless they end up making it free, just buy the full game.
