Might have gotten a voucher for this game and tossed in a few coins. Well, easy 100%.

Very loveable but overpriced. I recommend getting it on sale, and the rest of the episodes too when they eventually get released.

A short adventure about a young woman with social anxiety who just wants her oatmeal. Kinda relatable and easy 100%.

Best game, really. Hands down, my favorite game of all time. Can't personally finish it because 1) I suck and 2) it's making my mental issues slightly act up because it's too good/trippy. All of it, the admittedly dated but still bearable graphics, the plot, the characters, the radiating c r e a t i v i t y and also psychosis of some characters (okay most of them) makes for an unforgettable experience.

It's Riding Club Championships, the facebook game now ported to Steam. If you're expecting a horse AAA game, this obviously isn't it; however, for a free game it still offers quite a lot of gameplay, especially obstacle courses. Okay basically 90% obstacle and agility courses. You can also compete against others, which is perfect for competitive players. There's also a fair bit of customization, a free-ride area and the possibility to design your own levels.
A motivation for progress could most definitely be the achievements, but they will take a lot of grind of perseverance, which would personally bore me to death, but maybe because I already admittedly played this game a lot in the facebook times. Also worth mentioning that there's paying membership option which allows your horse to have double energy (=being able to complete more courses in a row until it regenerates) among other bonuses. Maybe this also takes the fun out, since you're being spoiled to a free membership trial for the first couple of real-life days.

Overall, I'd give this a solid 6/10.

Creepy, and maybe kinda heartbreaking even. You can tell Sally Face is the developer's first game and he did everything on his own, but that's not a bad thing. It's a labor of love and it's showing. The main characters are pretty likeable, which will only hurt you more when it all starts going downhill. There's some occurrences in the plot that honestly seem a bit illogical/out of place, which is my only issue with the game, but as someone who values a good, consistent story it still stings a little. So, overall 7/10.

I'd say "2020 simulator" but that would be too macabre. Strong female protagonist, if you care about that. Honestly, I liked the dark, dystopian setting even more than all of the Blackwell series. The characters really feel like characters and the french revolution references are just chefs kiss.

A good 21st century point and click, which I recommend getting on sale. Overall 7,5/10.

FYI, got the game for free because of my Patreon membership backing the creators work.

As a Submachine kid, I might be a bit biased. The puzzles are hard, and I'm too stupid for them. Nevertheless, the art style is still full on Mateusz Skutnik. If you liked his previous games (Submachine, Daymare Town, Covert Front) you will like this as well.

The gameplay in the classical point-and-click manner consists of you as this cute sea-creature strolling through a peaceful yet abandoned world, where you can't help but wonder why everyone left. You will need to solve puzzles in order to advance. There's also this weird, mystical rune/magic/ technical stuff going on (I'd say "steampunk", but it feels way too creative, individual, and like something else) we already know from the previous games.

Overall, yes I'd buy it despite it being very hard for my lousy brain. But I don't know if would do the same without having grown up playing the previous games over and over again. If ever, I would probably recommend getting it on sale.

First of all, despite all of the (semi-)philosophical input, this is mainly a game about completing increasingly hard puzzles in a Portal-like manner. A notable difference is that you can (of course, limitedly) but freely roam around in the worlds and don't always have to complete puzzles in a fixed order. There's even easter eggs and hidden areas to discover, if you're into that.

Aesthetically speaking, although the world seems kind of "empty" (I mean...it's literally just some old greek/egyptian ruins...and puzzles galore) I suppose it fits the vibe? Like, advanced human-like robots and ancient civilization are not the kind of things you expect to fit together, but it somehow works. Once I read up the developer team used some kind of 3D-scan technics on real objects to achieve that crispy look.

As for the story, I won't spoiler much, it goes from "why am I a robot and why do I need to solve these puzzles" to "what is free will, and what does it mean to be human" among some other things, pretty much. I would rather classify it as a slow burn, as all of the secrets aren't of course revealed to you from the beginning. In order to complete the game, you will need to have solved all of the puzzles and after that, it gets even more intruiguing.

So in summary, if you're really into puzzles, a good bit of anthropology/metaphysics plus bible references, and enjoy the crispy ruins look, then this game is definitely the right choice. Overall 9/10.

Creative fun little game that requires you to think a but outside the box some times. Unfortunately the "sharpshooter"-achievement seems to be broken.
