Tower Unite is an extremely fun casual experience that offers a huge variety of mini-games and customization. There has been much progress recently regarding new golf holes, new games, and events that keep things interesting. It is one of those games where hopping on always provides something different, especially when servers are filled. Want to watch YouTube videos with your buds in a virtual movie theater or with randos? You can do that. Want to survive the zombie apocalypse together in a top-down shooter? You can do that. There's tons of variety here, but there is a huge caveat to this I will mention later.

On one hand, playing solo can only get you so far. The game is built around a multiplayer experience after all. Servers can sometimes be empty, making some less popular games desolate and unplayable. If the game becomes more popular after a full release, the problem could be remedied. On the other hand, playing with friends and other players is good fun. Generally I never have any problems connecting to games or meeting friends in plazas.

While Tower Unite itself is filled with mini-games and hangout spots, the actual performance of such is abysmal. Without a heavy duty gaming setup, the game has major rubber banding issues in the plaza and in mini-games. I don't know if its the game engine or the general optimization of the game causing problems, but it takes away from the experience majorly. I should not be having trouble racing go-karts on medium settings with a 4070 Ti when I can run other racing games like Need For Speed Heat at a consistent 60fps on max settings. I hope that in the future the devs will be able to optimize the game properly.

From what I've seen, the devs are a loyal and hardworking team that respond to feedback often with the limited resources they have. As of now, the team should be focusing on heavy optimization fixes rather than new features. However, I can recommend this game still. It is enjoyable to bowl and play bingo with random peeps on occasion, and there's a LOT of potential here.

Whether I can recommend the game wholeheartedly after the recent price increase is hard to determine... They HAVE to make some drastic changes soon in order for the purchase to be 100% worth it.

The new "upgrade" basically bricked my saves and forced me to install an update that promised DLC I already had. Starting over or moving to the legacy version either sticks me in an infinite loading screen or makes my game run like ass. Thank you, Volition and Epic Games. Oh yeah, and I guess the game itself was pretty good...Back when I could play it.

Ya know, sometimes you don't want to just shoot people in video games. Sometimes you just want to relax and drive recklessly down a highway with a tanker full of kerosene. Want to drive like a maniac and ship goods while listening to "East Bound and Down" By Jerry Reed? Do you want to feeeeeel like the a true murican trucker? Well this is the game for you.

VR Chat was a well-nit castle of a community, but all it took was someone to find that strong foundation holding it all up and remove it, sending it all crumbling to the ground.

Streets of Rage 4 is an amazing continuation of the series that brings back that familiar beat em up gameplay from the previous entries. This time around the combo system adds a satisfying spin on the fighting, and the music greatly compliments the hectic but all around badass slugfest that is this game. Simply put, Streets of Rage 4 improves upon the previous games in every way and delivers a super addicting experience that makes me want to run through the story again and again. The DLC also adds a great level of content that expands upon the already varied movesets of characters while adding just a bit more replayability to an already replayable game. Don't listen to the negative reviews. Most of them indicate people who have never played a beat em up before and refuse to git gud.

A game that is worth the price and will keep you going for hours on end, until you start getting frustrated in Expert Mode

This game has come a long way, since it's early Alpha stages in 2011 and now the full release this year. In that stretch of time, Subnautica has been slowly but surely developed into this masterpiece of Sci Fi Survival with a dash of horror elements. Watching the game reach milestones over the course of so many years is stunning. You can overlook the survival element if you're not too entitled to play that style of gaming. The developer's managed to give the player the right feel of progression when suriviving in this underwater world. You aren't just building stuff with no purpose to just say you did so. Everything you explore or build goes hand and hand with the story. Not many survival games have a story intertwined inside it, let alone successfully where it doesn't feel tacked on. The begining of the game sets the story in motion and the tools given can help progress it. Exploring the actual landscape is amazingly unique. Every biome from the get go tells you how difficult it is to explore it, without always telling you directly. A biome like the bloodkelp trenches signals you that it must drop pretty deep below the surface in a tight space. The sci fi asthetic really fits well with the freshness, admittlingy sometimes creepy setting. Whether you're into the survival genre or not, this game can provide hours upon hours of immersive gameplay and exploration, and with a worthwhile story that progresses with you.
