> a building is still on fire, some people are trynna break down a door to go inside and rescue the people trapped inside
> see barrels of water nearby
> go "oh hey lets see if there's any more barrels of water i can bring to the burning down building" and go running around town in search of more barrels
> get distracted talking to an ox that's talking about how it killed a goblin who's corpse i did not notice until that moment
> see a not-actively-on-fire building next to the ox and dead goblin, and decide to go inside to see if there's more barrels of water inside
> stumble across the entrance to the den of the smugglers ring the guy i saved the other day is involved in, give them the password the guy gave and am allowed in
> get distracted talking to the smugglers within the den
> hang out with them for a bit
> "wait a second isn't there a building on fire upstairs oh ♥♥♥♥"
> go back out of the den to help out the people i saw earlier trynna break down the door to the burning down building
> NO ONE IS THERE
> the door is open
> check my journal. everyone who was trapped in the building is dead
10/10, would indirectly cause the death of innocents bc i got lost trynna recruit hot lady all over again
