The learning curve takes a little to grasp just because this is supposed to be a realistic game. So realizing that you can't really just rush down a hallway and think to outgun someone holding a corner. Its just not going to happen in this game. But, if you are looking to join a pretty good community of people who play consistently. This might be the game for you. The gameplay aspects are a little wonky movement is clunky its not the best shooter game out there, trust me.

But again you play this game because the community around it is really great. And if you play it enough and get a grasp on a certain weapon you enjoy, you really can do very well scoreboard wise if thats your thing.

100% Love this game. Is their a lot of issues with it currently? of course, but they literally tell you before you even buy the game "HEY THIS GAME IS IN ALPHA THINGS WONT WORK CORRECTLY" Yet people think this game is completely finished buy it, and get butthurt when they realize you don't spawn in with an M4 400 bullets and all the gear you'd ever need.

Ive seen streamers play this game for about a year and a half before I decided to pick it up, and thats what i reccomend with DayZ don't make an impulse buy before you know what the game entails. There is a huge learning curve with a game like DayZ. And if you watch people stream or watch videos you can get a better grasp if this game will be for you. Its not call of duty, its not battlefield. DayZ is its own game and nothing like it compares. You honestly feel like when you spawn in and get gear that its really you in real life living in the DayZ world. The game does a great job (when everything is working) of keeping you immursed. Again, is it perfect right now? Not at all. But I have not played a game where my heart beats so fast when you get into a gunfight with someone. 100/10 DayZ is one of the best survival games ever made.

The amount of time ive put into this game beta and release all together is about 60 hours. And don't listen to what people say about the games flaws. Yes it has its issues, what game doesn't but my god for less than 20$ the amount of fun you will have in this game will oversight the flaws you may come across. My biggest gripe at the moment is the not being able to queue with friends, unless its private matches. Once that gets sorted out the game will be better. But as a "out of the box" currently i think this is one of the best games on steam.
