I have little to no idea as to how I got over 1,000 hrs on this game but i thought I'd might as well put a review in for it.

Overall its a MOBA in its own domain since it is not a top down view which got me into it in the first place.
Since its a MOBA there is a very competitive community, yes there are the trash talkers and even bad teamates.
The game play is pretty spot on, however, since this game has been out for a couple years the developers have released so many "gods" since release. This is good for variety, but bad for balance since the meta can change very fast and it can be hard to have an "even match".
For Example,
Odin- God whoms ultimate sets down a cage that the enemy can't escape or enter unless use of items or leap/teleport abilities.
Odin is a nightmare for low health gods that don't have mobility abilites.
Now there is of course many counters to Odin but this is one thing that may deter players from playing since balance may be there biggest concern. There are issues just stay aware.

Smite over the years have over and over again amazed me by the new gods and items that have been introduced.
Is the game fun? - Yes
Is it balanced? - Not completely, but hopefully more balance patches will come soon.
Learning Curve from League of Legends?- other then the over shoulder view and needing to really aim, not really.

Great game with some work here and there.
Micro-Transactions? - Yes, as a Free to Play title they have to make money with micro-transactions, are they a pay to win deal? no it is all cosmetics unless u wanna by the god pack to get all gods and future ones ( I'd Reccomend ).

Game is so much fun with friends. Without friends it can be fun if u enjoy killing random people. However there is nothing more fun and funny then your friends trusting u and when the lights go out *Blam* u start killing them one by one.
The look of Deception, Fear, and Absolute terror in their eyes as they fall to the ground, dead.
