This game is a great game it can have a steep learning curve when your new but if you find the right people who will teach you a lot of the more advanced settings excluding mods it can be very fun however one thing i recommend don't look to join a mil-sim or star/sims if your brand new it will not be a fun time as those community's can be very strict some are chill just hard to find that kind of chill ones out of all the ones I've been in i enjoyed only truly one i cannot say the name due to issues within the group but rest assured they are a good group on top of that it is a truly awesome experience and with mods this game can never get boring
