Hi, I have been playing Skyrim for about 7 years. I started playing when my son bought the game for his Xbox 350! Of course, he now has an Xbox 1 but I play on the PC. I think I have played it through almost 3 times. Of course, I do other things and can go weeks/months without playing. I have never modded but am desperate to get into mods, even if it's just to repopulate my towns and villages, have extra followers with horses, and different armour. I have tried to follow online videos but have got stuck. I know that I have to download from Nexus and save to the data file. Trouble is, I tend to save and it ends up elsewhere. I know it must be in the data file in steam, and yes I do have the addon SKSE - is that right? I am 67 but young at heart and a writer now that I am retired. In the game I married Mjoll, a good choice, having been married to Lydia previously and then to a miner who I go so fed up with going to bed with her pickaxe! I have found Ingjard (from the dawnguard castle), installed her as my Hijarchen Hall overseer, and I take her with me frequently. I find her beautiful and love taking screnshots of her in many different localities. But I don't like her talk and attitude: she is brusque and sometimes rude.I want to expand the speech of NPCs, and of course my own. Now is there any volunteer who can teach this old fart to mod?
