OG stanley parable is goated but ultra deluxe was a miss. Barely anything is really added for 25 dollars? it took me a few hours to see everything there was to see

As someone who put hundreds of hours into the first game, i cannot recommend this to any old or new players. Town of Salem 2 is a downgrade in almost every conceivable way. Visually the game is an ugly mess with way too much on the screen to the point where being a veteran player with hundreds of hours felt like i had no idea what was happening for the first ten games i played. The next glaring problem is that the commujnity is really bad. In TOS 1 the community was friendlier, more helpful, and less toxic in game. Players will scream at you and call you bad for not using the exact strategy they think you should (like being a town investigative role, people will think you're sus if you don't put your will on day 1, where in town of salem 1, players knew that its useless to post the will unless you have information useful to the town. For simply not wanting to make yourself a target right away, your own teammates will often kill you and then call you bad for being cautious). This almost never happened to me in thousands of games of TOS1 and its happened 4 times in the first bunch of games i played. the only thing that isnt way worse than TOS1 in this game are the possible roles, and even then they messed up by making neutral roles that used to be fun like amne and making them into town roles that now arent fun whatsoever. mafia is completely gone for some odd reason, and notoriusly awful roles like executioner are still in the game for some reason. Do yourself a favor and play TOS1 its still a great game!

This does not run so great on PC but man this game is one of my top 5 of all time. Best saints row game, 3 4 and all the others literally don't even compare to this game. i literally still think about Maero and the Ronin from time to time because of how great the story arcs were with them. the memories of playing this with my friends in elementary school are some of my favorite gaming memories. If you have never played a saints row game, just play this and skip all the others.

Very good for passing time, whether it be waiting for your friend to decide what they wanna play, or you're just bored, this is the perfect game for that.
