This is the first and last early access game I've bought. I'm not impressed. The gameplay is shallow and annoying. Profitability of companies will drastically fluctuate for no reason. You'll buy shares in a 10% profitable mid-level company but by the next quarter their profitability is -15 for no reason other than to screw you over. Other shareholders will frequently vote to drastically reduce or inflate dividend payouts, replace the CEO with a worse one or take out loans and you'll get constant notifications about pointless political events that you can't interact with yet.
When you receive an offer to buy your shares you have to decide right away. You can't review the performance of your stocks first and you can't negotiate. You're stuck on the pop-up until you make your decision.
Information on the economy or the finances of companies is minimal. There's no real way to predict their success or failure. You just have to take a shot in the dark and pick a profitable company to invest in. But like I said earlier, their profitability will change drastically for no reason with no warning. You get a lot of notifications of 'accidents' happening at the companies but no further information about how this affects anything. It's just a thing that happens with no explanation and no obvious consequences.

All that being said I think the game has a lot of potential and I hope the game has more depth when it's released in full. Unless you have a lot of disposable income I wouldn't recommend buying this game as it stands though.
