It's true: skyrim is still worth it if you play for the first time in 2022.

Loving it.

First time I layed my hands over Sunless Sea I got sucked in and played over 50hs in a couple of days. Yes, the writing is really good, and kind of Lovecraftiana in inspiration, but also exploring is in it's prime here: i kept feeling the urge to go further but the fear of what will I find there. Sunless Skies keeps the good writing, expanding the exploring keeping the same constant feeling of anxiety as you drive your engine through the skies.

Some cons: until you get a faster engine exploration is really slow, also the worlds are less densely populated so you drive in the middle of nothing for a long time until you find a port. Combat is ok, IA kinda dumb. Yes, resource trading is halved in the variety of stocks you can get, but before there was too many options and didn't work great either.

So, it's pretty much the same great game but with some differences in setting (although it happens in the same world as Sunsless Sea) and some really small mechanics and gameplay changes.

100% recommended if you've loved Sunless Sea.

Short but amazing game. Kind of easy and simple, but just what you need to enjoy the eerie feeling spaces, the weird and cruel scenes and the whole atmosphere. If you get it cheap, buy it.

What makes it good, makes it bad, at least for me. Hyperrealistic rally driving means I can't get no... control over my car. I end up crashing all the time and is really frustrating. Everything looks great and for sure will be a favorite for people who love rally games.
