Jagex just locked me out of my almost 15 years account out of nowhere and there is no way for me to get it back. Don't want to drag it out so I'll shorten the story. I always used to play the game occasionally, in 2023 Jagex created the Jagex account and asked us to migrate our regular accounts into Jagex's ones which I did (bare in mind at no point they asked me to switch my old authenticator to a new one, this will be important in a moment), fast forward to last week, I change my password and play for a few hours, today on the 30th of April I try to log in again to play, to my surprise they ask for an authenticator code which they NEVER asked before, when I try to use the authenticator that I have on my phone it says that is the wrong code, since they never asked me to switch to a new authenticator I don't even have access to the account's backup codes, to make things even better on their site says that if I don't have access to any of them they cannot remove the authenticator aka my account is 100% unable to be accessed anymore :)

TLDR: after playing for 15 years, I don't have access to my account anymore thanks to Jagex and their amazing Jagex account system :D
