There's a lot of overly negative reviews just bc people have negative preconceived notions about Nexon and Korean marketing, or they have some problem with something thats not even actually related to the game bc their heads are in their asses. Don't listen, its a good game and I've been having a blast.

EVERYTHING can be obtain F2P, this is only pay for convenience.
Haven't had any performance issues either.

An absolutely phenomenal game with fantastic story telling. I wish I had Alzheimer so I could experience it again for the first time.

It's hilarious, disgusting, uncomfortable, witty, deep and depraved. This is a story about two ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up adolescents that were raised by even more ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up parents and it shows in their behaviors while not taking itself too seriously to point where you'll need to talk to your therapist about it afterwards.

...Or maybe you will have to speak to a therapist because it awakens something deep inside of you, you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ degenerate. ;D

I don't review often so excuse me if this is sloppy or not well written.

To put it plain and simply, this is not a great AVN, but it has some qualities that make it decent.
In terms of quality to price, there is plethora of better titles you can get for $11, but if you're between chapters or updates, it's not a bad choice. I do believe it has potential and could be vastly improved upon in the future if the author ever decides to rework it, at which point it could become a great AVN. Not to mention this is only book one. If you're newer to AVN's then its a good one to pick up, but anyone who's an avid AVN reader will likely be disappointed.

The story itself, I find interesting and compelling. Even with the lack of meaningful choices it's the singular reason why I want to continue playing, but that by itself doesn't make up for the other issues I personally have with the VN. After all, this is book one so there could definitely be improvement as far as the choices go later on.

The most glaring issue is that while the story maintains my interest, it is very difficult to find any attachment to the underwhelming characters and weak relationships due to them being extremely shallow, unrealistically quick paced and generally uninteresting. Certain events that transpire happen far too quickly after character introductions or without any meaningful build up or they are easily predictable due to the narrative. For example, Kendra's parents both had cancer... wow Kendra also has cancer. Who would've thunk that this could be possible?
Regardless, this in turn makes it impossible to have any emotional involvement which causes those events to come across as gimmicky plot devices rather than character building experiences. It creates an atmosphere of disinterest that makes me want to fast forward through those interactions just to see what is going to happen with the main story line as its very clear that the relationships were not given the attention to detail that the main story was. While the personalities of each girl feels fleshed out, it's as if they weren't really expanded upon in any way that makes them unique to this story.

Another gripe is with the MC, he doesn't feel realistic. He's in essence a ,"go with the flow" character. For someone who mentions hindsight being 20/20, the past doesn't appear to have any lasting effects whatsoever.

The MC left the military due to his fear of becoming bloodthirsty and violent, yet he is able to completely able to shed that violent identity as if it was never an issue and is very level headed with no behavioral issues present. Where did that tendency for violence go? Where is that brash and reckless attitude that was rearing its ugly head?
You're telling me that after building this identity of war for 6 years from age 18-24, the foundational years for a young adolescent to mature and obtain the necessary qualities to be come a stable, self-sufficient and responsible adult, but were instead filled with war, death, horror and violence...yet the MC is just going to seamlessly reintegrate into civilian life? No anger, guilt, desperation, defense mechanisms, learned behaviors anything? Instead the MC comes out of it all as a pretty cool guy who doesn't have any issues creating or maintaining relationships? Not to mention losing his whole squad of 6 years to what is immediately suspected to be an inside job, bot not even this causes any real changes in his behavioral pattern either or effect his attitude others at all? It felt as if we got one scene where he leaves his friends for a short while, talks to another character about it, then goes on with his life as if those bonds weren't even relevant to him to begin with? Aside from some inner monologues insinuating that he's stressed or saying he isn't sleeping well, he's in tip top condition. The author not only failed to make me care about the squad, but not even the MC seems to care about the squad. It doesn't make sense and nothing feels impactful. There isn't enough exploration into these emotions and topics for me to grasp the true nature of what the author want's us to experience with this narrative. Sure, if I was a military man that had gone on multiple tours with the same squad for a decade, maybe I could empathize, but I'm not. I need to be given a reason to care or understand what this character is going through, instead it feels contrived to further the plot and it's disappointing.

Visually, it's alright. The military scenes are pretty good, despite the "classified" cop out at the beginning of the story and the lewd scenes are lackluster and there are some renders where I question if dialogue was removed or changed. but I don't have anything to really complain about. Maybe more diversity in body type and height for the females would be welcomed, but its not wildly disconcerting yanno?

TLDR: 6/10
CONS: interpersonal relationships, character development, formulaic narrative, emotional depth, choices, lewd scenes
PROS: interesting main story
