bought it years ago and had a random thought about it while playing old games so i reinstalled it to see if anything that made this game a terrible clunky mess had ever been improved, sadly nothing has, i think the only content update or fixes it ever got was on the same patch back a couple months after release and im still convinced all they did was take out the pewdiepie campaign and add cooking. still like the series and dont hate the game just its something that you can only take in short bursts otherwise you break your keyboard

poorly optimized but still kinda fun, i had wrote a paragraph of all the problems i encountered but accidentally hit non recommended when i went to save my coffee from spilling because my cat knocked it over. if they port it to a different engine and clean it up so it actually runs fine with more then 6 enemies on screen ill update the review.

also MAKE A STEAM PORT OF DEADZONE THAT ACTUALLY RUNS GOOD UNLIKE THE LAGGY GARBAGE ON ARMORGAMES!
didnt mean to yell just id give that game another shot if they fix the lag issues... wait im noticing a pattern

played for 20 minutes, took 10 to find a game and the rest was getting spawn camped with grenade launchers

looks fun and seems fun at first but you'll quickly realize that because the player base is small and there not being a lot of servers teaming in solos is not only easy but incredibly common. it makes playing the game feel unrewarding and not fun just cause i dont have friends to play it with

+rep only game in my entire library that consistantly only ever downloads updates at a staggering 2.5 mb.
everything else 60-75mb normally

game is really fun and it looks good though once you get to the part where you have to stand in for a driver at a race the really clunky and not at all good feeling driving controls in a vehicle that turns right when you go left is really infuriating.
4/10 kinda cringe crazy taxi on cool math games that i played like 10-ish years ago had better driving physics then this.

super fun to play im surprised i havent played this earlier. a lot of the combat and game feels super janky and the character creation is rather lack luster but overall its good fun.
only real complaints i have are weapon variation. one thing i can honestly say i feel about this game is that there really is only so many weapons you can find all of them rather uninspired and boring, the other complaint i wouuld have isnt even the games fault but server lag and latency causing zombies to teleport or spawn inside you. 8/10 would play again, however the game really needs a workshop

hewo! long time player of the sonny games and occasionally i still play them because to me they hold up to modern turn based strategy games however this one is different. i heard it was getting rebooted but not by the same developers and it really shows....
the game feels super empty and rather unloved, gameplay feels like a chore and art looks like they just picked the cheapest willing on fiver.
do yourself a favor and dont buy it on steam. its free on mobile and if you actually watch the ads for the extra xp the game becomes brainlessly easy if thats your thing

where to begin. let me first say, i love the game. and im interested in what others have to say about it. im in a clan of about 38 people and while i dont take part much in combat what i hear and see makes me think how the players as a whole are pretty much like the rust player base but more toxic i gifted this game to a friend and he gifted it to me and we both started to play for a while. overall the game is somewhat fun the graphics for this style of game isnt too bad the textures at least on ultra look crisp and makes it feel like a world not straight out of something made in source.

this is where i want to talk about other stuff. like, combat... if you've played for honor, combat in this is like that but ripped of combat system of what made for honor rewarding and fun with very cumbersome controls as attacks and blocks are linked to your camera. in pvp combat combat there is back and forth bashing of sticks until a third or someone breaks it up usually a clan mate of the other guys making it then where you cant really do much not that you could before making it boring and rather one sided on clans and clan size which brings me to the next point.
clans,... clans are though a very important feature in the game are also the most game ruining. upon researching the bigger clans at least in na west and na east, they are allied to one another trading and fighting wars along other big clans and splitting rewards and territory to make themselves larger its basic stuff right? except it discourages smaller clans or solos from trading anything as most of these bigger clans sit on trading stations and attack anyone they spot not in theirs or sister/brother clans promptly calling them hurtful slurs for minorities, which not only stuns but erases any progress made as that clan that was attacking them now has their walker and supplies and thus the victim starts at square one, discouraging the newer players/small teams from doing much as they see themselves only getting pillaged so they don't want to play the game.

as far as foraging goes, a lot of problems i have aren't actually problems at all, foraging in lost oasis isn't difficult however it is extremely tedious. lumbering, mining, and gathering have a small yield for pretty much the entirety of early and mid game and this IF you can hold onto fragments long enough to make fragment plates (which have a chance to fail at creation) to make the better tools to have higher yielding rates on material. while that sounds like i complaint i rather like it, it makes it feel as if there is some struggle in the game to survive giving it that feel of life in the game and accomplishment (though sure it will be short lived as it will be promptly stolen and broken before you) like you need to pat yourself on the back.
an exploit i feel i also need to address is at these trade stations. clans and players will "sell" their extra gear at really high prices. thats not the economy of the game thats them using the trading post as a storage system to but their stuff in for no penalty and they can just take it out whenever they need or want it freely to save room in their base and walkers so they can carry all that new loot they pillaged to probably make more and do it again making storing weapons and gear needed on your walker seem a little if not entirely foolish as you have free no strings attached storage and a trading station.

welp. all i could think of for right now as ive lost my train of thought, im pretty tired it being 5am and i havent slept since wednesday. do i reccommend this game no, not really however i feel it is worth being experienced as the game offers a lot. if you can make it there, subtitle for the game should me masochists welcome. sorry its so long but i wanted to put my view out there and hope it will give insight to someone or pique their interests
