Oh boy here we go the squeal nobody asked for did you like Smite 1 and the fact that you could earn new gods did you like being able to unlock the whole roster withing a reasonable amount of time did you like the game being able to stay above 60FPS in team fights?
Well smite 2 has none of that at this point in time you can earn 50 character coins to unlock gods it doesn't take honor anymore for some reason they decided to throw out a system that worked perfectly for 0 reason and you think to yourself that doesn't sound so bad we only have 42 god in the game RN I can get everyone till you take a little peak at the text at the bottom saying you cant use the coins to get new gods so whatever the newest gods are EVEN IF THEY ARE OLD ONES like ULLR or AGNI you need to spend either 10 straight weeks of logging on the game to claim the daily gems OR you pay $10 and once you use up the 50 god coins guess what its the same ♥♥♥♥ you will either need to login for 10 weeks or pay $10
all of this skins in the game currently are Insanely overpriced but font worry if you are a returning playing you can pay 50% of the price for the skin you already own in smite 1 I love paying a second time for something I already bought
AND DON'T EVEN GET ME STARTED ON THE FACT THAT THE SKINS YOU GET FOR RANKING UP THE Ascension ARE ON A PER CHARACTER BATTLE PASS you need to pay either 450 blue gems and 450 green gems OR 900 blue gems to get the ITEMS THAT WERE FREE IN SMITE 1 that $5-$10 PER CHARACTER just to get your ascension rewards
This GAME need to be avoided DO NOT waste your time with SMITE 2 if you like smite keep playing smite 1 at least smite 1 respects your time

This game takes advantage of you and to try and keep you playing will put you in bot lobbies in quickplay with and AI tank and an AI healer if you have been doing bad and they try to hide it

This game will be a 10/10 game once they balance the champs and make smurfing a parma ban other than that the game feels and runs great for the small cast that it started with every champ has its own playstyle and for the most part that all have that satisfying crunch you expect when hitting your kit
Fix the Balance
and Fix smurfing
will be a 10/10 game for sure
as of now its 8/10

The devs of this game have become so greedy its insane the game is fun but everything that made tekken 7 great is missing they even added A PAID STAGE how much lower will they go

EDIT: This has gotten even worse with the release of Clive with another map that we don't get

This game starts ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ the bed the moment you have 3 players in a lobby just keeps kicking you out of the lobby you were in

This game need some serious work before it can really compete with dark and darker
It has the same predatory monetization every free game has I personally don't see that as a problem as the base game is free
the balance between the classes is BAD don't get me wrong dark and darker also has bad class balance but this game is on another lvl of bad rn
The PVE is leagues worse than dark and darker but the PVP is fun as it takes on more of an arcade style of combat would still say dark and darker has better feeling combat as a whole but this game has its niche
the only thing I will say for certain is do not bother with is the DISCORD IDK what clown set it up but its nothing but HI spam and annoying notifications If you do join it block the bot they use then the actual server right after so you don't get bombarded

All in all tho If this game lives long enough it could end up as real competition for dark and darker but as of right now I wouldn't recommend sinking time into it

I picked up a radioactive poop from a squid and died

Now that PSN has gone back on pushing out the update that would have killed the game arrow head can keep this amazing game going all thanks to the amazing community this game has JUST KNOW WE WON SUPER EARTH LIVES ON

EDIT: Now that PSN has made the game unable to be purchased in all the areas I will be going back to having my review of this wonderful game as negative until I can dive with them all once again

great game play loop nice maps and a cool environment to play in and get used to its a good feeling game that runs well and at times will get your blood pumping BUT ATM of writing this the game is have a big problem with cheaters spawning in loot that you cant even get in the game and running around with invincibility and sadly it is becoming more and more common so ATM I cant recommend the game hopefully they get it clean of cheaters IF they do this game is a 9/10 would recommend
