After 1000 hours of game play, this may be one of the best game purchases I have ever made. The base game offers a lot of game play itself. The added mod content by many creators available on Steam and several available forums allows you to create your own map(s) however you see fit. And thus far, there hasn't been any pay to play DLC packs released, unlike some other titles.

Being your own tycoon relying upon gross revenue coming in to expand your transportation network, or creating your own digital train layout, almost anything is possible here. An added benefit is the developers are continuing to work on updating the game even further.

Have you ever thought about what it would be like to see through the windshield of a Peterbilt, Kenworth, Volvo, or Mack going down the interstate or a two lane road out in the country? Well look no further as SCS Software has given us American Truck Simulator. Start out as a company driver jumping from truck to truck hauling various loads while you build up your skills and pad your bank account until you can afford your first truck and eventually your own fleet of drivers and equipment. With the optional purchase Heavy Haul and Specialized content and Maps available, you can explore further with greater load options. In addition, there is a size-able offering of content created by talented modders out there to further enhance your simulation experience that includes maps, trucks, functionality, and immersion.

The title is still young with plenty of content in the works for the future and there is an option to DEMO the game for free, just as I did if you are not sure if this is the right title for you. The bundle packages are definitely worth the additional price and 100% improve upon your driving experience.

Whether you like farming or logging, I think you can find something that you will enjoy in FS19. Aside from the base game, their is a plethora of mods that can be had that further add to the experience.

One of the best features is the download station with the many contributors that have created so many things to represent real trains from all over the world and their routes. I do however feel that routes using the full features of 2019 is a little slow coming out. But there are some people that are converting their routes to the new standards and it does take time.
