Great atmosphere, interesting puzzles and platforming. Multiple layers of exploration and secrets that you can take as far as you want. If you are into ARG and out of game puzzle solving there is that as well, but it is (mostly) optional.

While I played and enjoyed the previous games in the series, this game left much to be desired. After the first few puzzles, the difficulty spiked dramatically, leaving both of us stuck for long periods of time on almost every puzzle. Some of the time is to be expected, learning mechanics, themes, and input schemes for each puzzle, but multiple puzzles ended in one player going silent for 20 minutes to input the solution while the other waiting with occasional prompting.

We encountered multiple game breaking bugs that required us to restart from the most recent checkpoint including: falling out of the world, puzzles not registering as completed when the correct solution was input, the radio not working. We encountered bugs in the previous games but nothing to the extent or frequency of the bugs in this game.

The best part of this game was the incorporation of segments where the two players were able to be together and work on puzzles simultaneously. The inclusion of shared zones made puzzles and separation feel less contrived than in the other games.

Great game, would recomend. Runs out of content around 20 hours depending on how quickly you play through it or how interested you are in build crafting.

Great game. And its getting even better with the changes in unturned 3.0.
