Campaign? Pretty mixed, honestly. It's pretty good up until the 70% mark, where it takes a massive nose-dive and becomes horrible. It's as if Activision switched writing teams several times in the making of the story, with them seemingly changing the main plot direction at least three times.

Multiplayer? Horrible. All the maps are incredibly small, enemies literally spawn meters away from you, matches are incredibly sweaty due to SBMM, and the ADHD riddled warzone kiddies dive all over the place and spray you down or one-shot you before you can even register their existence.

Zombies? The best we've had for years, and the best part of this game. I know that's not saying much with the existence of Vanguard and MW3, but I believe this to be a very well done combination of what made Cold War and BO3's zombies great. If you could buy the modes individually, I'd say the purchase would be worth it.

This is nothing like the first NMRIH. This has entirely abandoned what made the original so good, in favour of being a half-baked extraction shooter with zombies sprinkled in.

Melee and ranged combat both feels and performs horribly. Animations clip and overlap constantly. Zombies teleport, slide around, hit you from far away, and sometimes even become invincible. There's no infection system at all. It's literally impossible to play solo, like the first game. The optimisation and performance is god-awful. And the networking is some of the worst I've seen.

The devs have clearly thrown away any semblance of the first game, rather they've tried making something that appeals to a wider audience. Absolutely not worth your money. Go play the original instead, it's free.

One of the greatest games ever made. Everything about BO1 is perfection, from the story and the characters to the raw gameplay and options it offers. I feel blessed to have grown up playing this masterpiece.

This entire game is the embodiment of "Wouldn't it be fun if we..." with the imminent answer always being a resounding "Yes, yes it would."

Genuinely the perfect blend of hilarious and horrifying. Highly recommend to just jump in blind with a group of friends and let fate run its course.

Online only, horribly optimised, unrewarding and an overall total downgrade from the previous title. How they managed to f*ck this up baffles me, just go play PD2 instead for an infinitely more enjoyable experience.

Let this games situation be a lesson to all game devs out there, about releasing their games WAY too early and under-baked, just for a quick cash-grab.

Genuinely one of the best chapters ever released. Shame they nerfed his ass, though.

How tf did we go from Black Ops 2 to this? The absolute state of AAA games right now is horrendous.

So it's an Outlast game, with objective based co-op multiplayer. What more could you want?

Sure the story is pretty meh, but the gameplay and immersion more than make up for it, and then some.
