Coming from a guy who's made Brawlhalla a part of his daily life, I think i can tell you a bit about the game:

You're going to encounter people who will complain and be disrespectful, every gaming community has them. Don't be like them, ignore it, and move on.

There is somewhat of a steep learning curve when starting out, so dont be too discouraged if you arent playing well, just keep playing, try out training mode and look at your replays to see what you're doing wrong and see what you can do to fix it.

Once you get past the disrespectful people, you might want to be more involved in the community, there are so many good people in this community so don't be afraid to talk about things on discord, reddit, twitter, wherever. If you think something is inbalanced, discuss it and get others opinions.

With all this, you'll fit right in and make new friends.
