I've been playing the beta for quite a few hours, and have loved it, and this is from someone who played the MO1 beta, but could never get into that earlier version of the game. Three different times I tried to play MO1, and each time I quit after a week or two. THIS IS NOT THAT GAME. The changes made in this version of the game and the number of hours I already have in it should be proof enough that this is worth playing by anyone who likes the MMO sandbox genre.

SV has been very clear about their vision for this game. They have published a roadmap for more than a year that includes twice a month releases and have hit 90+% of them. They actually pay attention to player feedback and make adjustments that don't violate their vision, and host weekly streaming Q&A with players that sometimes last for 6 to 7 hours. No other game company does this. Those other game companies throw out hype but hide their games and player feedback or worse yet, hide their ineptitude by claiming their game is ‘still in beta’ after years of development.

The GA release is nearly here. While this game may not be for everyone, it is for anyone who has tried games of this type and found those games wanting.

A great, light consequence PvP game, with crafting and a working economy. The combat is very engaging, and while numbers do matter I have seen fights where an out-numbered group can still win the day with better tactics.

A great indi game with slow but steady progress

An absolutely great game - one of the best I have played in a long time. Have had multiple 'Oh S**T!' heart pounding moments.

When a match is good, this is a great game. Yes, there are bugs still, but the only real issue is that the Eldar are extrely over powered right now.
