I started my first playthough of this game back in 2017 when it had just come out but never finished once I got to the section with Mia and the ship. 4 years later, I finally finished it after marathoning most of the other RE games. As a whole, this game is a return to form following the disaster that was RE6. While not quite as good as Village, 4, or 2 remake, it is a great entry to the franchise and a worthwhile game to play through in my opinion.

update 1 after 246 more hours of gamepley: the matchmaking system is so horrendously laughably bad, Im solo queueing as a silver elite master and getting placed into games with master guardians making it nearly impossible for me to get back to GN1. everything about this game is aight
