Game runs abysmal. its unplayable on my PC. Nothing i do fixes the constant stuttering and frame drops, i tried everything i can think of. Ive played it before on my buddies PS5, play perfectly fine on that. the game itself is good. But it was clearly designed for PS5 first, this port was nothing but a sloppy, half assed, afterthought. Hard to say what to blame most, the ridiculous DRM they've put in or the bad optimization? probably a mixture of both. games been out for almost a year and it barely runs on PC. ether way, i have a very solid PC and this is one of the worst optimized games i ever played and the first time i have ever requested a refund in my life.

One of the best RPG's ive ever played. Bought day one, didn't even need to check the reviews. Never played early access. Never watched any lets play's. i just knew with Larians track record and the fact they were willing to leave this game on early access for YEARS, just to make sure the game was polished and exactly the way they wanted it, shows their devotion to making a good D&D/baldurs gate faithful RPG. Cant recommend this game enough, for sure my game of the year and i dont see that changing.

If you like watching South Park episodes and like that kind of humor, you'll like this game. If you like old school RPG's, you'll like this game even more.

this game has its fun moments, but is surprisingly frustrating to play. solo is pretty much impossible, 2 players is frustratingly challenging and thats how i was playing. im sure if you can manage to get 3 or 4 people together, the game is probably a blast to play because then even if one person is bad or slacking off, you got plenty of people to compensate, making it a much more enjoyable and fun experience. Overcooked 2 seems to be the better option, with the added throwing mechanic and online multiplayer.

the trinkets and the new class are cool. i have mixed feelings about the crimson curse vampire thing, its annoying always having to manage the blood and dealing with the debuffs, but when you drink blood during battle you get a HUGE damage buff so thats fun. for the most part the games pretty generous with making sure you have blood, so its not a big problem. the bosses are cool and fun, very challenging. the background story is very interesting and well done with beautiful cinematics. but the courtyard itself is my biggest issue with this DLC... its a long and tedious grind. first you have to grind dungeons just to even get a invitation to enter, then when you get inside the courtyard its a huge giant maze that's damn near impossible to do in one trip so expect to spend many HOURS in the courtyard. luckily the game doesn't punish you for leaving and saves your progress. the enemys are all pretty strong and a bit annoying because they deal high stress damage on top of normal damage and most can drain your health to heal themselfs . rinse and repeat this process 8-12 times, and thats pretty much the courtyard dungeon. on a scale of 1-10 id give this DLC a 6. there's good ideas and elements here, but the overall execution could of been better.
