Liked what I played on my first run through was a fun, short shmup with a serviceable story.
I am going to try again on hard and see if that makes me hate or like the game more.

People played the previous game in this series for hundreds of hours, and I don't understand why. I don't understand grinding out the same levels over and over again for gear that you can use again in the same levels when you play it for the 20th time.

Good coop and story, bad internet play

I think it's fun for a bit, but the community only plays the same 4 maps. Still in early access, so I'm hoping that in the future, they'll work on sound design.

I think the first 30 hours are great, but as the game goes on it, it starts to recycle a lot of content, and the story somewhat loses it's spark.

I really wanted to try to get into this game. It has the hallmarks of what I normally like, action based combat and an anime aesthetic, but the game shoots itself in the foot right when I try to like it.

It dumps almost every character you will have in your party on you at the same time, so it feels hard to keep track of who's who and remember names. The combat, after 4 hours, doesn't seem like it's going to gain any kind of depth to it, as I am still using the same moves and tactics I used in the first 20 minutes. And the cutscenes all have a "Tales of" approach, with most of them being static images with the characters talking.

Might just be me, but I felt there were a lot of things in the game holding it back from keeping me playing.

Not as good as RE6, but a really good classic RE game

Somehow just as good if not better than the original
