Just finished my 7th playthrough (epilogues included) and just thought I'd remove the old review and say this much.

This game was the breaking point in the industry and broke a cycle of bad releases alongside many others.

After winning 5 major Game of the Year awards and that is without all the others the game racked in.

This game just feels amazing to play. Everything about it, the companions, the story, the music, the visuals, the combat just everything.

After many patches and extra content updates brought this game to a closure. What saddens me tho is Larian is stepping down from making a sequel and with good reason this is their 3rd best game release after DOS1 and DOS2 and now BG3. Everyone supports them for stepping down and leaving the game as a foundation for others to build off of.

Even tho there are still stories to be finished post Epilogue I wouldn't have minded if some of those stories came in the form of expansions that will........... well expand on the stories after the main story.

Whatever happens I just hope to hear from Larian at the end of 2024 or close to the end of 2024 on their next project and just the ideas that will go into making their next game.

Still a 10/10 game
