I came into this expecting it to be a good co-op experience like this is advertised, but the multiplayer sucks. The coop is extremely restrictive. Player 2 can't open/get chest drops, don't make any story progress, and they can't even open f**king doors. The save points are disabled in multiplayer too for some reason. Why was the coop designed like this?

A fantastic jrpg absolutely tarnished by the greed of Square Enix. As someone who bought the game for $60 when this came out, the release of XI S with not even an upgrade DLC for people who bought the original feels like a big "♥♥♥♥ you". Well, ♥♥♥♥ you too, Square. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.
