It looks very promising...

+ it's interesting and fun game (at least thruout this demo) with decent gameplay loop
+ graphics and UI looks nice
+ music is good

BUT...

- the narrator sounds super weird, like AI... no narration would be better than this one
- different weather should have different bonuses - positive or negative... not just "winds", "frosts" and "rain" for trees... and if there are already, it should be visible in game (for example when you inspect weather icon)
- winds... (especially) on hard difficulty huge death waves are inevitable and they will completely ruin your run... because all people get sick (almost) at the same time incl. medics so no one can heal others... or you simply didn't think you're supposed to build 4+ basic medic buildings within first few minutes just to be sure you can fit all the sick in there (plus, of course, you still have to have some healthy people left so you can assign them as medics to heal others)
+- I hope there is an actual endgame

2 playthroughs - normal + hard; completionist

Chill survival game with a pretty graphics and simple story with a twist BUT...

... even though it's fun, it can get tedious and repetitive and the game is generally weirdly balanced so the further you get, the more you start realizing that...

Spoilers warning
I could write a whole essay about all the stuff that could be rebalanced because some things are just ridiculous but a few most noticable things are:

- Invincible achievement feels extremely underwhelming... have a separate locked custom difficulty that's truly challenging...
- too much Scrap and Electro scrap, you'll end up with full chests with basically no end-game use... or you not gonna loot/pick 80+ % of it
- the Drills available in desert biome are extremely overpowered, you can basically skip 90 % of all future mining
- second building spots in each biome are useless because practically you gonna build the first "tutorial one" just to get started, then the desert one mainly for Drills, and then the safe one which will be your main one till the end of the game
- even Hard difficulty is fairly easy except bosses - they're more annoying because of combat style
- demolished/destroyed buildings return 100 % of materials = completely broken

Premium version from EA Play

The Game
• Linking to EA is perfectly ok... but actually launching the game from the browser tab is absolutely unacceptable... why can't we just launch the game normally and choose/set stuff in the main menu as it was in e.g. BF: BC2...
• PB (PunkBuster) is outdated so you need to manually download it from the official website [www.evenbalance.com] (it's literally a few clicks, nothing convoluted)
• The cyan HUD absolutely doesn't fit into color palet of the game... I prefer e.g. BF: BC2 HUD much more because it's fits and it's more subtle.

Campaign
Do not buy it only for the campaign, it's very likely not worth it
• It's very short... 5 hours max if you're not dying all the time and not wasting your time
---> it feels like cutscenes and scripted sequences take almost 1/3 of that time
• The retrospective take on it is interesting but I didn't particularly enjoy it because it felt there are no longer parts of actually playing the game without "interrupting"
• enemy AI is sometimes doing some weird sh*t... like literally standing "behind" already broken fence and trying to shoot your allied AI somewhere in the back while you're standing literally in front of them...

Multiplayer
• You need the updated version of PB; mentioned above
• It's not dead, that's good but surprising to me, I expected similar population as BF: BC2 has
• If you're a new player, expect to play against a fully leveled&geared lobby (it may be frustrating but it's not that bad)

For its age it is a very good game with very little problems

I'm not biased towards FO2 like many people here because I tried it just for reference after I played FO: UC... and yes, it was exactly what I expected... FO: UC is basically Flatout 2.1, it's more polished, it has better graphics and more content
...is it perfect? No, it is not but none of the problems I've encountered so far are common or game-breaking but they may still be annoying...
- the AI is just flying and you have basically barely any chance of winning unless you take him/her down as soon as possible
- collisions, especially with immovable objects, can be a bit weird and/or hitboxes kinda speculative - rare
- issues with the account, sometimes it works fine, sometimes it refuses you to log in
- and few other negligible problems... for example when a piece of destructible environment is stuck on/in your car and limits your view and you just can't get rid of it

As of 2022... I didn't find anything that would cause problems or not work... the game is fun, easy to enjoy but can be hard to master.
Graphic is nice, voice acting is simple, gameplay is fun and KBM controls just fine if you can assign them properly... people who mock it that's just a trash version of Hotline Miami either suck in this game, are offended by the theme or are blinded by nostalgia...

I play it as a singleplayer game and with KBM

Basically stereotypical idle game concept with more interesting topic than it's competitors... you may even learn something new

From the gameplay perspective... nothing special, clicking, waiting, rinse and repeat
As it usually is, it gets more annoying and less "fun" the longer you play becuase it significantly slows down and it feels you just don't really progress... which inevitably leads to luring and pushing you to buy speed boosters and such.

If you're here for Steam achievements, avoid this game, it'll take way too long to be worth it + you'll still have to "play" it from time to time

Semi-afk chill game about mining.

Let it run in the background for 100% efficiency and check it once in a while to sell mined materials, open chests etc. ... if you're into those kind of game, it's worth the try.
The further you're in the game, more afk it's supposed to get as far as I know but after 40 hours, I'm still checking it every 30-60 minutes when I'm on PC and full-afk or 100% offline efficiency is still nowhere near.

Some could even say that his game has some depth but that doesn't matter that much if you spend like 1 % of "played time" in the actual game doing something... but yeah, it's "deeper" than games where you click once and then wait whole days to click on the same spot again just to wait another day etc.

After 4 games it's quite soon to review but I'm not sure I'll play it any time soon again so now, I'd give it 50 % and promising future. It's quite fun to play for a while if you don't expect much from it, but I can't still recommend it in this state.

+ nice graphic
+ relatively big and detailed maps
+ movement and gunplay are ok
+ probably many more stuff in the future (at least some guns and attachments)

- servers troll you from time to time
- you get bored or annoyed quite fast, depends on the match or team you're in + not much variety for now
- matchmaking basically non-existent First match ever, I was thrown there with players with the best weapons already unlocked
- bots, lots of them, some more obvious than the others
---> I wouldn't mind bots (like their own AI, not afk/bot players) if there would be proper balanced matchmaking and bots would be there just to fill the capacity.
- many spawn points on the worst possible places where they can shoot from a long distance
---> spawn kills... you spawn, you die, repeat
- no kill-cam or at least showing the silhouette of the player who killed you Sometimes you're just stucked around the base cause they spawn-kill you or headshot you from a distance before you even see them, sometimes it's sus, sometimes it's just annoying
- it seemed to me that hitboxes were sometimes really off ( dude was standing behind the tree, I didn't see him but I knew he was there, I shoot next to the tree a I killed him ) and sometimes you killed someone or got killed thru some object even it probably shouldn't be possible
