I've spend more time playing this game than God would have liked me to.

Don't expect a nostalgia free opinion: game's good.
What I like most about this game is that It's very open making decisions feel like your own rather than forced by the writer. It feels like an rpg sandbox.

Best npc yeeting simulator, 10/10

Was interested in the gameplay and vaguely remember enjoying the game a while ago. Logged in to see that the game's apparently all about whaling now though... a shame.

A very satisfying combo of "base building" for lack of a better word (building up your fleet) and exploration in space.

The game doesn't have the best visuals but the core gameplay loop is incredibly satisfying.
If you like exploring, looting, building bases, it'll probably be right up your alley.

Incredibly satisfying to play and despite the 60 second time limit on most missions, oddly relaxing game too.
Thoroughly recommend.

Great ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DLC model here. I’m playing randomly generated scenarios which spawns random items you have to use to survive and these include DLC content and there’s no way to disable that.
When you pick this ♥♥♥♥ up (if you can at all, if you can’t ♥♥♥♥ you, you can’t use this item at all), you get an ugly screen overlay with the DLC’s logo that obstructs your view.

I’m buying the DLC’s just to be able to play the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game without the gaming equivalent of a watermark smeared on the screen while I’m playing.
I hope whoever designed the DLC model for this game chokes on a ♥♥♥♥ and dies and their children are forced to bury their corpse with rusty old trowels.
