Somehow after so many hours I never thought to leave a review. It's fun with your friends, the mods keep the game interesting if you ever feel like it's getting boring. The current hours I have at 160hrs is from the vanilla game throughout the years. However your opinion on rougelike's will vary to mine, but I truly enjoyed this game thoroughly.

First souls-like I finished. I need to get around to doing the other endings and see the rest of the content as I felt like I may have missed quite a bit in my first playthrough.

I wish it was more popular, I really enjoy it's mechanics and destructive environments. They did a really good job of making the environment part of the game play rather than just "hehe wall's blow up"

There are some points to work out, but I like the base of what this demo has to offer. I find the handling to be fine, but shifting seems a little off with how the game handle's the clutch. But that's something that can be worked on and ironed out towards the final release.

I do find the AI pretty easy when you start, this is due to the last few patches tweaking the AI to be less aggressive at the start of the game. Kinda wish it was harder though because you gap modified cars with your stock one lol.

Overall, solid base, I want to see more, there's alot of features that can be added with time and I think this is a fantastic demo.

Game good, more fun to play than it looks in vids. Soundtrack banger, artstyle is very sick. Runs insanely well at like 200+ for me.

actual masterpiece. I've never seriously sat down to play through a side scroller and this caught my eye. Really fun and unique experience, would recommend

fun game, takes some getting used to as it's a very unique handling model. Nothing like other racers, so it's got a deep learning curve and I hope it doesn't turn people away from this game. Every car feels truly unique, you can't use the same driving techniques with other cars except for a few exceptions that feel the same but in a higher speed class. You'll truly appreciate the driving handling changes from car to car, and they don't feel the same at all with each other. Tracks and the soundtrack are excellent which highlight the strengths and weaknesses of every vehicle you drive.

story's "ok", I don't really care or feel invested into it, I cared more about how to beat the next track and what secrets hold with the tracks. characters are alright I suppose, kinda has that "twitter cast" if that makes sense, but I don't care, I seriously just skip since the button's there for a reason and I didn't feel invested into the story. Except for going against the kid in the snow built car that ate my ass in the first half of the game. Actual good story telling there because I truly hated him, but then the gameplay took over to show you how to actually beat him in a certain way (not gonna spoil, it was a high point in the game that should be experienced).

Multiplayer is eh, can hardly find anyone to race against which makes sense as it's a really niche racer, but if you have a friend to play with, at least you can just start searching at the same time and find eachother. I wish there was a lobby system so you can join others, or just make it easy to find your friend.

TL;DR: fun game, try it you might like it. unique in every way from cars, tracks, and style. Every car feels different from each other (1 or 2 exceptions as some A class cars are souped up version of B class.). Worth a try, and it's got a learning curve as it borrows nothing from any other racer I've played before. story is eh except for 1 part, but the gameplay threw me away! Soundtrack is a bop, give it a shot!
