This was a pretty good game relative to the games previous to it. However, I do have some gripes with it that I wish were addressed:

for one, why isn't there an ability to access the bestiary whilst in game? It's quite annoying having to exit the game to see if I'm making good progress on my 'pokedex'.

Secondly, I wish there was more of a story. This game once again fails to capture the imagination with quite the bland story. But of course, I have yet to play the games after this one, so I reckon after this one the stories get even better and better.

For the hardcore jrpg player or a completionist, I recommend this game. But if your're a casual or just getting into final fantasy. Maybe it'd be best to start with the games that people give accolades to, such as FF7, 10, etc.

Overall, it's about a 7-8/10

First time playing, pretty good ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game ngl. Ninja kinda busted at the end tho
