UPDATE AT BOTTOM OF REVIEW

Well this will probably be the last time I play the game, as the devs have banned and keep banning every single person that leave genuine negative reviews. In a way, I'm hoping I get banned so I can be free of this prison.

The game can be fun, but only because of the friends you make and play with along the way. There are many things wrong with it, tyrant developers, dull playability, and the overall lack of respect which the developers have for their players.

The developers are control freaks that always think they're right (narcissistic behaviour). They make changes without warning the community or caring about the critique that comes along with it, if the critique is negative they believe it's right, ridiculous, ain't it. 90% of the developer team do not play the game, the 10% that do are not taken seriously for their opinions. They do not allow negative reviews simply because it outlines the flaws within their programming. They do not take player advice because they believe every player wants their own benefit, which just means they have poor judgement skills. There's a reason this game hasn't moved in any direction since it's release, and it's because the developers are stubborn, tyrant control freaks that won't even think of changing their own behaviour in order to progress their failure of a game.

The playability is fun at first, with the variety of abilities you are allowed to venture through from leveling 1-100, the quest line is well thought out and the playerbase is a playful toxicity that is fun to be around, the friends you make can really be the reason you still play the game, even if you hate it. However, with pros, come cons. Content is player driven, without players there is no content. Developers do not support the playerbase therefore the game does not grow, NA servers crash every SoW, denying content. Developers have been recommended fixes by players however they do not take any of it into consideration, even though developers themselves do not know how to fix the problem.

The day this game progresses is the day the developers decide to take advice and have open minds. There's a reason why this game failed their launch goal, because it simply was not ready, and it still isn't after almost five years of release. If you want a summary of the skill that the developers have, they still have not created a 'Logout to character selection screen' after almost three years of requests because it's 'too hard'. Instead of the developers taking this review into consideration, they will respond with what's wrong with my review, pointing out minuscule inconsistencies within my analysis, then proceed to ban me from the game. I guess this is goodbye everyone.

Update: After the new launch, the game has significantly improved and I recommend curious individuals to give it a try! Questlines have been improved, PVP has improved, the game has become a lot more newbie friendly whilst still providing great content for endgame players (Which is the best part). Developers have improved their attitudes, and old moderators have been removed and replaced with actually competent moderators. They even added a RETURN TO CHARACTER SELECTION SCREEN OPTION!! The only issue that I see now is they don't have a return to server selection screen but you can't always get what you ask for. Considering that's the only problem within the game, it's amazing how far they've come.
