Alright, I've played my fair share of H&G, but like for a lot of other players, the game has progressed into a direction i couldn't have imagined possible. What once was my day-to-day game, a game i kept coming back to year after year again, has now been finally deprived of all what i once held dear.

There have been an awful lot of awful updates after i started in Timoshenko, February 2015. Back when the game had an athmosphere elusive to most other shooters i've played. To an extent, no other game so far made me feel the same as H&G did.

Back in 2015-17, the game was a combination of awesome and glee-inducing, for every battle felt different.
Me and my squad always got into a jeep and charged the objective recklessly. We died, and tried again, we died again and tried again until we pushed through the MG42 camping the stairs. I loved my unscoped springfield, even though i had a mere 30 fps.
The tanks roamed the battlefield, just far enough to avoid being murdered and just far enough to be slightly annoying. Me and my squad often spent many minutes trying to come up with a plan, and when it worked, it was the best feeling I've felt.
The planes shrieked above, and the distant bombs were exhilirating. Every now and then, there would be a guy yelling in team chat about how OP the planes were, but as i got my first plane, the P38, the opposing fighters soon started falling and i had found a new profession.

The honorable mentions include Walker, Adams, Deyatatev, Garman, 1.12 and 1.15.
In Walker, the prices were increased. Everything was suddenly 400% of it's former price.
Adams got rid of one of the more fun aspects of the game - gunplay - by adding RNG into the game.
Deyatatev, while not completely awful, it was the final straw for a lot of veterans, for it added the much hated Squad 2.0.
Garman took all of the map knowledge i had, and tossed it into the trash along with the spawns and gameflow. Everything was now super bright, spawns were miles away from action and bushes were everywhere, as they still are today.
1.12, Armor 2.0, pretty self explanatory, ruined infantry gameflow even further and made tanks awfully hard to kill. Above that, they introduced an awful sound system they had tried to introduce a year back, and had gotten whiplash for it.
1.15 was LMG 2.0, but I haven't been able to touch the game in months, because of Reto's incompetence to fix their game.
It feels like Reto made every possible choice to cater to specialists instead of infantry, which is supposed to be the actual game. Reto would incentivice buying a car, then AT equipment and a lot of other things, by modifying their game.

The same bugs plague the game as they did in 2015. The game isn't fun anymore. A game should be fun, not tedious and infuriating to new players, and hate-inducing for veteran players. All of us know what this game could've been.
