A cooking sim masked as a fps rougelite

Actually not bad, shotguns are decent and pretty much make me want to use them all the time, other guns are equally as enjoyable, fights are fast although a bit overwhelming but manageable and enjoyable to the highest degree. Only issue is the Assault Guards with basic armour and helmets with mostly machine guns being way to fast and pretty much darting across the map before I can actually pin them down and shoot them, almost behaving like they have a speed hack.

Rest of the Enemies are enjoyable to fight, bosses are easy and can be cheesed a lot of the time. Some areas you cant predict however and if not prepared can just die on the spot, but also can be cheesed with throwing one or two Molotov and basically standing back as they burn or walk into the fire.

Maps are spacious and cool, adds a good bit of variety. Although the lack of the ability to quick save and have weapons bound to keys or number keys does slow the pace down a little bit.

Overall, really not a bad game, enjoyable for the time I have spent on it and 100 percent worth the price, honestly I could see this being priced at £15 then £10 or even £9 with the special offer on right now.

Tbh, after being a very long Battlefield fan since the OG Battlefield bad company and even a little bit of 1942, even with DICE ending development on this, properly will only see some weapons become vault weapons in the future and nothing else. The game is still fun for a good few hours, plus something to grind on while you wait for another game worth your time to come out.

Plus, due to the steam summer sale (as of now) its a million times worth it, theres enough maps and old maps from previous battlefields and unlocks and weapons to keep you busy for a good few hundred hours.

Its not the greatest, nor am I saying this should be the standard or the best possible battlefield, however, if you was in the mood or itching for more battlefield fun or something to grind with the feeling of the games and weapon feeling too, then pick it up now while its still incredibly cheap, its 100 percent worth the time just by this price alone.

OH and make sure to have a go at the portal conquest game mode, nothing more fun then being back in 1942 with a bazooka class and being chauffeured around hitting tanks in their ass.

I've always wanted to go back home just to go to work again.

Edit: Nvm, come back in literally 10 years after fatshark has come back from their 15th holiday. Just go back to Vermantide 2 till everything is in the game.
