"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; We are perplexed, but not in despair; We are alive, but dead inside" (Unknown) was a quote I have written down from back in the day but after years of glossing over it I decided to search the quote up, Come to find out the correct quote is
"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed" (Corinthians 4:8) and quite frankly I enjoy the first more.

Another would be "He who rejects change is the architect of decay" and I feel it applies heavily with today's society and how the reluctance of the older generations to accept the rapid changes most of the youth have had to grow inside of and were forced to become a part of has and is leading us down the path of decay and despair among the younger generations.

Lastly would be "You know when you suspect something , it's always better when it turns out to be true" would just be a take on how we all seek to validate our own desires and as a result pray and hope that even in the most dire of a situation that being right somehow feels oddly satisfying
