I advise to everyone never buy sims DLC
This DLC was free for a while and now they put on discount
I bought the sim 4 in 2015 like 30$, and they put it free in 2022. what a ♥♥♥♥♥ 4ss h0l3
they will grant another free stuff in future bc of the game is already dead

I admit the game is pretty good FMV. I have many FMV games, this one is considered to be good to play.
BUT
I can't believe this devs scam the ♥♥♥♥ out of the people by selling an unfinished game as a base game. I played many of those awkward FMV games but those game dont scam people like you have to purchase the DLC to get a full game This is the major reason I do not recommend this game
Put on the title "Breakout Part 1" even adult s*x games always put "season 1" or "part 1" on the title. dont put it on description with small words. or make the game full game and double the price. what a scammaz game, good luck for making another scam in the future.

It was a great detective or mystery game. a lot of things to discover. It's a little bit hard to discover them all version

It could be a beautiful game

I gotta be honest, there are so many issues in the game.
1. there are a lot of bugs: npcs were floating themselves to somewhere in high speed, npcs were respawning itself after taken down of we reload the saves, the game didnt tag the places, the main characters talking alone in cutscene.
2. the DICE
idk what is the point the dice in the game when we are actually investigate something. even skill build does not matter if you unlucky. what is the point of having attributes/skill check ? I had charisma 17 difficulty was 11 and I lost because the dice rolled 3 2 2. ♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ skill, what is point of adding skill? I really hate it
3. locked achievements : Der Watschnbam is umgfoin! Knipsse 10 Lamperl aus!
I played indie detective games like Return Obra Dinn and Painscreek killings. those games are not like this.
This game is so bad. I hate Dice

Great Storyteller.
A lot of beautiful Arts in the game. whoever draw them, they make this game look very good.
too bad we cant keep Geralt & Dandelion cards, you supposed to spawn Milva too like in gwent's witcher 3
it is very well-made game. from the animation inside the card, into sound of every cards and music.
I dont like the puzzles, there are too many imo. sometimes couple puzzles waste our time

This game has potential
I can't say I dont like the game, but there are many things that needs to be fixed
- Save files. I redownload the game after a long time, and my save files were gone
- when you set the prices each computer, the game resets itself everytime you close the game
- some npcs are invisible
- Npcs are blocking your way on the stairs
- the waitress sometimes stuck, cannot deliver food
- the cleaner sometimes can not clean toilet and stuck somewhere
- there are too many unimportant things throughout the game like Warcry, blackjack, slots, fruit slots. those are uniques but it doesnt involve anything to the netcafe

I'm sorry but it is what it is

It was a good game honestly
but this dislike for the devs who had an idea of challenge carrying purple hat and pizza box to the end.
half-life always have advanced technology, right ? have you heard about ancient technology called "BACKPACK" ?
in half-life 2, there will always a safe spot to put gnome away from fight. not in this game.
I remember Half-life 2 and those 2 episodes had pretty short playthrough, so it is fine to do this challenge.
thanks for devs who created that stupid challenge in this game with long playthrough. thanks for getting rid of joy from the game. hope gaben will not approve any stupid remake like this in the future. however, graphic looks pretty bad for a remake compare to couple of 2015 - 2019 games

in this dark pictures part one, It is clearly House of Ashes better than previous series. The Man of Medan and The Little Hope. those two previous series are like delusional simulator, they are always like what you see/think is not what it seems to be. I havent play Devil in Me yet but seeing the reviews people says it is bad. so it could this one is the best in this Dark pictures series.
based on supermassive games, I still think Until Dawn and The Quarry are better than the House of Ashes. Until Dawn is the best. the monsters in this game reminds me of the Wendigo from Until Dawn. their figure,their movement, their sound, their vision its all remind me of Until Dawn. maybe they are the reason this game is more favorable than other dark pictures.
plot is good, consequences are good, a lot of version
idk what is the bearing-bearing but just say butterfly effect like in Until Dawn
instead of wasting the fund for popular celebrity cast, its better to upgrade the graphics and add more of face models. man of medan and house of ashes are 2 years apart but its still same graphic. I recognize same face models like Jason is from the soldier man of medan prologue, Nick is Alex/Brad in Man of Medan, Clarice is Taylor from Little Hope. It feels good to know the voice actors/actress and see their real face models.
overall 6.5/10

I cant believe people spend money on this garbage and sometime later EA gives this DLC for free for a period time
