Not sure why this game is receiving so much hate. The Fromsoft games are my favorite games and this is the closest thing to that in my opinion. That includes Lies of P which everyone to be raving about for some reason. I'm around 20 hours in and this game is easily an 8/10 for me so far.

Pros:
- Several classes to choose from
- Multiple play styles supported (magic, dual wield, sword and shield, greatswords)
- Over 100 weapons and several spells to choose from
- Button mappable spells instead of cycling through them
- Armor variations and tincts to change color is nice
- Being able to add runes to weapons
- Some of the boss designs look great so far
- Personally, I think their co-op is better than souls games in some ways (ie not having to summon again after death, reviving, partner can level up while not the host, can replenish healing items when host rests)
- The visuals were extremely well done
- I think the level design so far has definitely been above average. Not quite souls level but not many are
- I think the combat feels great. Not sure where people are saying it's clunky

Cons:
- Enemy variety does seem to be a bit lacking, not enough to cry about though
- Boss attacks seem to be a bit telegraphed and to make up for that, they hit harder than maybe they should
- While I think co-op is good, the PVP seems a bit lackluster. Can't really explain why, it just doesn't give the same satisfaction the souls games do. I also tend to experience a bit more lag while invading then the host has a summon with them

Absolutely loved the first game in the series. The second I thought was solid. The third feels more like DSI again and I love it. It is nice to play a game that is actually challenging. I actually bought the game twice. Once on console and on PC. Highly recommend this game to those who seek a challenge.
