cool game brah

It falls short, it had it's moments I enjoyed some of the references to mafia 2 and the good fellas. It was an enjoyable story driven game but for what it had to offer it fell too short, 3.99 is a lot to ask for a game that you only play for an hour. I've seen free flash games that have delivered much better.
Mechanics where janky to say the least, you can tell the work of inexperienced artists. It's mostly clicking and reading it felt more like playing a text based game and most important in a text based game is the TEXT, I understand this is a work of an indie dev. who is not native to the English language but you can't just translate the script into 5 different languages and hope for the best.
I'm not going to go on with the critique. Instead I'd like to offer some friendly advice to the new player on the market.
1. Aim for a certain demographic.
2. Write the game only in English. (most people who use steam know enough English)
3. Start developing 16-bit/32-bit games if you'd like to continue with the graphics based games
4. Work on the mechanics it's really annoying to see the same char_scene over and over again E.g. opening door animation.
5. develop a couple of free small games so you can put your name out there. Make a big game after and ask for money.
I hope you take my advice into consideration as I liked your approach as a big fan of the mafia series and Italian gangster movies. The game could've been much better.
