Do the play. It is good.

To be honest I was a bit skeptical about buying the game, but I said ♥♥♥♥ it what is there to lose. Best decision I ever made. I started playing and didn't stop for quite some time, I even got 46 hours in 3 days.
As for the base game it gets a little boring after you put around 100h in the game because the end game is not really there. At that point just go to Nexus mods/ Steam Workshop and look around the mods. I recommend the Eagle Rising mod (transforms the kingdoms in the Roman Empire and much more kingdoms from that time) paired with Lenny's Europe Map (pretty self explanatory, replaces the map of Calradia with Europe.
10/10 game, would put another 500h more into it.
