For a game that's just starting it's Early access/Open beta it's got a lot of promise. An amazing starting roster and some amazing maps. Easy to pick up so don't worry if you're not the best at smash bros,Mortal Kombat,Injustice Etc you can pick this game up without a problem and have a blast. Devs have already revealed new content that will be coming to the game soon such as LeBron on July 26th and Rick and Morty dropping through season one which should start on August 9th.

My one grudge with this game is sure it's F2P so they need to keep the servers running and what not so they have microtransactions. Some of them aren't bad but no matter what it'll always cost you from the $5 to $20 range. The battle pass well at least the pre season is done differently so it's all rewards but no in game currency so you'll have to spend $5 on each Bp instead of saving up currency you'd normally get from one. The cheapest skin is the Uncommon which will cost you 500 Gleamium but the $5 pack only gives you 450 so you'd have to spend $10 if you don't have 50 left over from a banner or something like that.
