I had my doubts since its initial release was back in 2019. The game is amazing, it has great features ill list in a moment. The only downside and its big is the long queues.
Pros:
- Great combat -a bit static at time- , very challenging later on
- Beautiful environment and effect, really shows what happens when a very talented team uses unreal 3
- Progression is paced very well and the main story gets you immersed (for an mmo). Especially the one with the siege
- I was informed that the game is absolutely amazing in its late game. Tons of difficult dungeons, raids.
- Pvp is all about skill. Pvp players are all equal, no matter their gear. That's a positive one since not everyone has the time to master pve content or even don't even like it.
- One small detail i have noticed is that quest require you more than once to use different emotes in order to progress with the q. For example you need to encourage an army so you type "/encourage" . This gave me a taste or roleplay which is something not many mmos do.
- P;ayer housing seems interesting
- For a free to play game, sure seems not to be p2w. Pay for convenience sure but not game breaking.

Cons:
- As i said combat is a bit static. In order to complete my combo, my char will hit in a straight line unless i move which will end my attack.
- It has not felt as an massive multiplayer game. It reminds me of poe where you will mainly interact with players in cities. That said, lost ark has tons of late game action (pvp and pve)
- I cant stand the server limitation think. I cant play with anyone who is on another server. Some say there is cross-server activities like dungeons and raid (haven't been able to do any) but still cant play pvp. The reason i'm saying that is that i couldn't create my char in the same server as my friend cuz amazon put a limit on each server. Which brings me to my next negative
- HUGE queues and sometimes i get an error saying i couldn't connect. The game had 900k current playing on stream yesterday and 1m today. It is only logical that happens. Hope it gets fixed

TLDR: The game is worth your time but you probably don't have enough time to w8 long queues so w8 1-2 weeks. Other than that its the mmo we have been waiting for. Except for Ashes of Creation maybe

I almost never write a review, but this game deserves it, TLDR at the end. So here it goes.

To start with, the price of this game seems a bit much considering is basically singleplayer(i bought it on sale) BUT this game deserves it.
One of the many things i like about this game is of course the story. Not only its has this great feeling of dnd but also is very unique. There are so many things you can do and so many ways to get out of an ugly situation..for example in the first chapter in fort joy, there are at least 5 ways to escape (each one of them pretty unique). This leads me to the next topic: replayability. When you complete the game you will want some more, although the story ends in pretty much the same way, you got too many different characters (even yourself with different classes and rp) who keep you interested even knowing the main story and how it develops. As for the multiplayer i'd say that is meh since there is no competitive scene(pretty normal for that kind of game of course). The only negative thing that comes to mind is the 2nd chapter(after fort joy) is pretty big and gets tiring after 2nd experience (which is not even that bad).

TLDR:
its one of the most interactive turn-based rpgs i have ever played.
the story is amazing keeps you interested.
an awesome game to wait for Baldurs Gate 3

Early Access Review
I find the game great for co-op. It keeps improving in a very fast pace while most early access games dont do that. The only thing "last man standing" games dont have is variety. Great game but it needs more modes in order for me and many others ,i think, to keep playing. Best game in this genre!!
