I don't know if this will be read, since it's both a suggestion and a review. While the game is certainly unique, I would be very appreciative balance wise, if players in the strategy game mode didn't spawn as a unit by default. Hear me out, I think it would be very cool, and more productive if, instead of spawning, they enter what would be a command interface, where they can overlook the base and map. Now, in this interface, they can't control anything unlike the commander, but can instead control any unit the commander makes. This would be very cool in my opinion, so there isn't an imbalance of mass players depending on the team, and instead assets the commanders make for each faction, allowing the players to choose where they fight, and gain better situational awareness between lives.

Really not as great as it looks, the gameplay is more optimised for multiplayer stuff and the campaign felt fairly underwhelming as a first time player in the Homeworld Franchise. I wouldn't recommend it unless you're playing it to fill in the fragments from other Homeworld games. 3/10
