As with many other people, I rode the Animal Crossing hype train this March. I played the game for two months, only to have my island look like trash. I spent so much time in the game, and I had nothing to show for it. When I heard about this game, I had doubts. However, this game fulfilled many of the problems I had with Animal Crossing. Animal Crossing had me do the same two tasks over and over to make money, but this game is much more flexible. Anything you can do in this game allows for profit, and the tasks feel like less of a grind. The NPC's have multiple lines of dialogue, and as you bond with them, they reveal themselves more to you. The mine is a change of pace compared to the rest of the game. If you get tired of farming, fishing, etc. go to the mine to have dungeon-styled gameplay.
