That said, the game is fantastic in this current state!
It's got that early access crustiness (limited content, a whole range of bugs) but it's got amazing potential.
The gameplay loop is a bit repetitive but only because of the limited amount of objectives currently available in game, and a general lack of content. i.e, The maps are there, but the objectives currently don't use event a fraction of the maps area.

It's worth picking up, the only warning I have is that there are only European servers right now so you may encounter lag if you're from ~Australia

Even though the game is FREE TO PLAY, it is absolutely not ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ worth playing.

New players get absolutely stomped on by veterans in the game and that is coupled with at least a 50 HOUR grind in order to obtain a single weapon even remotely competitive that gives you a fighting chance to doing somewhat decent on the scoreboard. The games are filled with bots in order to make up for the low player count and horrendously long queue times. The HUD and overall inventory system can be somewhat confusing and messy to adapt to as well as the soldier system.

Overall the new player experience is ♥♥♥♥, and unless you want to fork over at least 50 bucks to live the high life in this dying game, I do not recommend getting into this game.

If you're willing to listen to ambient plain music that slowly drives you insane and like having new puzzles thrown at you when you're not even sure you did the last one right, this is the game for you~!

After 1.5k hours on GMOD, I can proudly say that I still find entertainment on this game
