To start off, the censorship added in the last update does not affect gameplay at all, so I can still say that Skullgirls is still a great fighting game. However the censorship is where, like many others, I feel my support for the devs start to dwindle.
The biggest mistakes the devs have made was the removal of paid/kickstarter content without any replacement or compensation. This is basically theft.
The other mistake was stating "we do not intend to discuss the particulars of these changes further." in their forum post. To me this sounds like "we've made our decision and will not be taking into account the opinion of the community." this is a horrible idea. This backlash is happening for a reason.
Now as for the actual "censorship"
I will say the removal/reduction of the sexualization of Filia, who is a minor, was 100% warranted, necessary, and should have come sooner. If this was the only reason you left a negative review, go away, you're drowning out all the valid criticisms other people have. The other things however, were barely problematic, if at all. They removed a scene from Big Bands story mode where he was beaten nearly to death under the excuse that it was "racially motivated" when race is never once mentioned nor hinted at anywhere in the story, Big Band was a good cop who was betrayed by corrupt cops, that's it.
They also removed the armbands from the Black Egrets, the game has been out for ten years, we all know the Black Egrets aren't Nazis, this change was completely pointless, and if anything, like big bands story censorship, takes away from what makes these characters so interesting and impactful.
Skullgirls has a world full of weird, wild, evil, and heroic characters, their designs were part of the fun, the subversion of expectations with the Black Egrets actually made them interesting, the horrible beating Big Band suffered made his comeback so much more impactful. Skullgirls was a game that prided itself of being mature and sometimes questionable, and I won't deny that as time went on some changes would need to be made as not everything will always be acceptable, but all this just feels like a butchering of what made Skullgirls such a unique fighting game. While I don't think any of these changes will be reverted, I also don't think the community should just accept this either. There should be a limit to how much should be censored, and I believe this update definitely crosses it.

Let's get one thing straight: Terraria outdoes Minecraft in almost every aspect. More ores, crafting options, weapons. The list goes on and on. If you enjoy sandbox games, you HAVE to give Terraria a shot. I would bet my soul that you will enjoy this game, but I already kinda lost it after I lost a fight with a friend in PvP...
