While I love this game, and have several hundred hours of playtime, I cannot with good conscience, recommend this to a new player in its current state. It is hardly beginner friendly, and encourages a very tryhard-y playstyle that is just unfun for people who have no idea what's going on. Watch at least 12 hours of youtube tutorials before even thinking about touching this game.

Easily one of the greatest Rogue-Likes I've ever played, and will continue to play. Neck and neck with Risk of Rain for my favorite.

Game is fun if you're halfway decent at shooters, otherwise you're going to get rolled in every pub. If you see anyone named Oijie, block them, they're a known cheater and ruin every lobby they join.

I'd rather not pay $15 every couple months to play a game that's advertised as "Free to Play," tyvm.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fantastic on its own. Just the base game is an absolute experience, but when you add mods, it's an entirely different experience. Slam firing an experimental shotgun loaded with magnum AP buckshot into the cranium of some random terrorist is an incredibly unique and breathtaking experience that everyone should go through at least once. Oh and you really can't go wrong with the bio weapons, watching your enemies turn into red paste as they dysentery their entire digestive tract onto the wall because you injected them with a lethal dose of literal bottled radiation sickness is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ incredible. Love this game, 10/10 on its own, 20/10 with mods, more than worth the price of admission(especially since mods are free).
