===[Men Of War II]===

The long-awaited sequel to this wonderful strategy saga, but will it have been worth it for this sequel, coming 18 years after the original Men of War and 10 years after MOW:AS2?

===[Gameplay]===

To start with, it should be noted that the gameplay of this MOW:II is different from the rest of the saga, although it can be like the originals . Infantry units are grouped automatically, in addition to having a life bar, at the same time as tanks.

This implementation of the visibility of the health bar takes the COH as a model, although the game has a realistic mode, which deactivates this option and returns to the original form of the saga.

In addition, the use of artillery and aviation is now totally worth it. You can group various artillery pieces to cause a constant bombardment in a given area easily, unlike in the rest of MOW, in which it was quite tedious to use artillery in my opinion.

What changes most without a doubt, is that now you can't position the infantry troops individually (not at least in all game modes, or so I have observed), in addition to not being able to use the interior of the houses at will as you could in the previous installments of the saga, although I don't see this as something negative, but now it is more comfortable to establish units inside a house. The only thing I could object to is that the destruction of structures now goes in phases, instead of destroying individual places as it happened in the sequels.

===[Campaign]===

Obviously, I haven't been able to play the entire campaign, but what I have seen is a marvel . I would highlight a mode in which you organize attacks and defenses from a strategic map using artillery regiments, infantry or armored units , thus being able to customize each unit you get, modifying the number of tanks, cannons, types, etc. For single player, it is something wonderful and with a lot of content.

===[Multiplayer]===

Now more than ever, team communication is useful, since each one can play a role of those I have already mentioned (artillery, infantry or armored units), each one having specific troops, making the multiplayer mode more interesting. The problem here comes when you do not have communication with your team, so if you are going to play with many people, I would recommend playing with friends on the same team .

I can't really give too much of an opinion since I haven't tried this mode enough yet.

===[Soundtrack]===

I bought the deluxe edition to get the soundtrack as well, and while it's certainly good, I personally don't think it's better than the original MOW.

===[Requirements]===

The game looks very nice, ergo it needs quite a few system requirements, but you can lower the graphical quality and still enjoy the game just as much.

===[Would I recommend the game?]===

In short, buy it if you like strategy and don't mind the little changes . I've seen a lot of people complain about the changes the developers have made, but again, I don't see them as negative, but rather as something that positively influences the game.

Personally, I think it's worth it, even if you play solo.
