Compared to JC 3 and 4 this game is actually good

Good game, but reminds me of a bad relationship: keep feeding a dark and selfish creature hearts untill you go insane or to hell. 10/10 recommend

Prototype 2 is a game which reveals the story of Sgt. James Heller, a soldier in the 21.st century, who returns from war to the blacklight infected New York to find his wife dead and child missing. Throughout the game heller has the chance to become stronger by killing and consuming infected and people genetically evolved due to this virus (such as himself and the main antagonist of this game, protagonist of the previous Prototype, Alex Mercer). In the end, Heller murders his maker, and so he now stands on the top of the food chain, as the dying Alex Mercer said. The game contains various collectibles too, which if acquired will give a boost to Heller, a power-up called Mutation. These collectibles are blackboxes dropped by the military force of the game, which runs by the name of Blackwatch, Lairs filled with infected which needs to be cleared and Field Ops, which is a group of scientists running scans on various places all around the map, they need to be taken down. There are also Blackwatch terminals too, which provide mini-missions, like Infected Salvage, Gentek Support and Cargo Delivery. Completing these missions will also reward the player with new fancy mutations! The player can also highjack planes and tanks, infiltrate facilities and shapeshift into other human beings, wheter they be soldiers or civillians. Heller's powers are similar to Mercer's from the first game, only that a new power is revealed replacing the Musclemass, the Tendrils. Unfortunately the Armor power is removed from this game, the armor being only a cosmetic, but the shields are uprgaded and can deflect projectiles or enemy attacks. I'd advise this game to the players of the first Protoype game and for people who like unlocking cool abilities for their character, don't mind the gore and the strong language of the game!
