Ferdinand was a beluga whale that lived at SeaWorld San Diego but passed away in mid December of 2023. At the time of his passing Ferdinand was the oldest beluga whale in the world, being 54 years old (belugas typically live to be 30-35). He was affectionately known for being a distinguished gentleman. There will never be another whale like Ferdinand and he touched the lives of many. RIP big man, I miss you so much
