Upsides:
Good looking and large landscapes
New weapons and weapon types
New spells
New pots
Very flashy bosses

Downsides:
Some bosses either have too much hp, to little window between attacks or too much damage. Final boss and Hog Rider specifically.
Some areas, despite being gorgeous, feel very empty
Some performance issues on amd GPU's
